Rebecca visited Wella World Studio, London, for OPI’s summer community event. Friends of the brand, content creators and educators were treated to an inside look at OPI product launches: TPO-free GelColor Super Strong Base Coat, and 150 shades colour-matched across GelColor and Nail Lacquer. It was then time to welcome the event’s co-host: Lotte Seymour, founder of Manicure Roulette and Mani-Science. OPI UK&I education brand manager, Charlotte Lowe, quizzed her about her career, before Lotte led a workshop exploring the science behind gel products and inviting attendees to visualise her teachings via experiments.

Helena and Scratch’s publisher & co-founder, Scott Derbyshire, jetted to Las Vegas for the Cosmoprof North America beauty exhibition. The event welcomed over 1,000 exhibiting brands from the nail, skincare, hair and fragrance sectors to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, and Helena and Scott caught up with familiar faces – including the team behind Nailympia China. Cosmoprof North America also offered an opportunity to view new nail products and upcoming launches, such as an exciting range from Gelish. More to be announced soon!

Helena opted for dotty digits for her late summer nail style, with various colours painted over nude builder gel enhancements. The look was created by her regular nail tech, Rebecca Ellis, aka @beckthenailteck of Dartford, Kent.
