Beauty in a NEW LIGHT

Improve your focus & aid precise nail styling with Slimline 4™ from The Daylight Company: a sleek, stylish & effective lamp for your nail space

Whether you’re snapping a nailfie for social media or creating intricate art on your clients’ fingertips, great lighting is essential. Poor lighting can result in squinting, hunching and eye strain, and limit the amount of time you spend at the nail desk. The Daylight Company has understood this since 1987, creating products that ‘bring daylight indoors’ to improve work performance and efficiency. And the brand continues to innovate, welcoming the Slimline 4™ model in table and floor versions, designed with the needs of nail pros in mind.

“Beauty and health professionals are understandably among the most demanding of our customers,” comments Patrick Jacquelin, chairman & founder of The Daylight Company Ltd. “They work hard, need to see clearly and often use our lamps for many hours each day.

In an industry where style is paramount, we pride ourselves on creating lamps that enhance any salon or professional environment.”

The Slimline 4™ Lamp builds on the success of the Slimline 3™: a model popular with nail pros worldwide and ideal for carrying out intricate, detailed work. The upgrade offers enhanced functionality and three colour options: Rose Gold, Ice Grey and original Brushed Steel.

“Featuring a sleeker design and brighter LED technology, Slimline 4™ fits seamlessly into any workspace,” comments a spokesperson from The Daylight Company. “It aids comfort during treatments and adds a touch of elegance to the nail desk, plus you and your customers can stay connected with the convenient USB-C port for charging devices. What’s more, you can change the brightness levels of the lamp effortlessly with the micro-switch button, even while wearing gloves.”

“We know that professionals in the nail market use our lamps intensively and for many hours each day, and they have been built to last.”

The key features of The Daylight Company’s Slimline 4™ Lamp are:

• Enhanced design.

The sleek, modern lamp is designed to fit seamlessly into any workspace.

• Colour options.

Complement your nail setup with a choice of three stunning finishes.

• Improved functionality.

Slimline 4™ features bright, efficient LED technology, offering better illumination and energy savings.

• Versatile use.

Ideal for a variety of tasks, including creating nail designs, social media content and carrying out admin tasks.

• 2-in-1 table clamp & screwable tabletop mount. The dual mount option enables secure attachment of the table lamp to any nail desk.

• USB-C output. A high-power 5V/2A USB-C port for fast charging of mobile devices, and to keep gadgets fully-powered while you work.

• Increased height.

The taller design offers greater flexibility and reach, making it suitable for various work environments and allowing for better light coverage with minimal adjustment.

• Antiglare diffuser. This diffuser provides optimal eye comfort, reducing direct glare and distracting shadows, so you can work longer without experiencing eye strain.

• High CRI (Colour Rendering Index).

The CRI has been increased from 80 (Slimline 3™) to 95+, offering light that is closer to natural daylight. This feature is essential for tasks requiring accurate colour representation, such as nail art.

“The Daylight Company lamps are created by listening to the needs of customers and staying true to our three principles of high-quality lighting,” the spokesperson notes. “These are quality of light, which takes into account the right colour temperature, spread and brightness, the right ergonomics and attractive, contemporary designs.”

“In an industry where style is paramount, we pride ourselves on creating lamps that enhance any salon or professional environment.”

About The Daylight Company Ltd

Company founder, Patrick Jacquelin, is a natural entrepreneur, with a European family heritage closely linked to silk manufacturing. This gave him respect for craftsmanship and the inherent quality of materials.

While living in London in the 1980s, talk among Patrick’s friends – many of whom where artists, painters and sculptors – veered to the difficulty of working with poor lighting. Around this time, Patrick rediscovered a blue tinted daylight bulb. He introduced it to artists at public shows, then to people with interests in crafting, quilting and sewing, and it was an instant success. This led to the creation of The Daylight Company.

It became clear that most people who were passionate about their work had specific visual needs, and were not satisfied by conventional lighting that was available. Global growth was steady, with Patrick and his team offering specialised lamps in different markets, based on simple, unchanging principles.

The Daylight Company Slimline 4™ Lamp is available in a table version (£159.49 inc VAT) and floor version (£175.99 inc VAT).
