ailympia Germany
returned to the
BEAUTY Düsseldorf
trade show for its fourth edition 28-30 March, uniting global nail talent in a celebration of skill, creativity and community. Hosted in collaboration with Signature Nail International and powered by
Scratch
, the vibrant display of nail prowess welcomed 57 talented competitors across 11 arena and five online categories. With 20 countries represented and 237 competition seats taken, the event highlighted the global appeal and high level of artistry within the nail industry.
A standout moment was the debut of a very special showcase – Gen X. Once the final official competition wrapped up, a selection of Nailympia judges took to the arena in a unique variety performance. While the admin team prepared the awards stage, judges demonstrated their exceptional nail skills and engaged in conversations with competitors and models, sharing insights, techniques and hot tips honed over years of experience.
Max had collaborated with competition veteran & international judge, Elena Maltseva, who contributed to the design during a trip to Tunisia, making the look even more meaningful.
Generous sponsors of the event gifted products to competitors, and prizes from Urawa and Beau Lo were a welcome surprise to the trophy winners. Sponsors comprised: Artistic Netherlands, Astonishing Nails, Bluesky, DNA, Emmi Nail, Entity, For Your Inspiration by Ström, Gelish, Morgan Taylor, NC Nails, Nova Flair, Peggy Sage, Scratch, Society Beauty & Nails, Urban Nails, Vincenzo Russello and Zer.0 by Zrinka.
Nailympia Germany has developed its own fresh energy and unique atmosphere, thanks to the precise organisation and support from BEAUTY Düsseldorf and Signature Nails International founder & esteemed nailist, Stefanie Lo Re. Its three-day format created an enjoyable experience for everyone involved – from competitors and models to judges and the admin team.
Pink & white French nails proved popular, but there were unforgettable highlights – including Joy of Nails, spotlighted by Zrinka Vuksan Bolancha, and an awe-inspiring Fantasy Nails – Complete Look showcase with a Venice theme, courtesy of Max Braga.
Nailympia extends a heartfelt thank you to Stefanie Lo Re for her outstanding dedication – not only for bringing the fourth edition of Nailympia Germany to life, but for her ongoing work as part of the Nailympia committee, helping to update the scoresheets and rules for 2025.

Threshold scoring
Nailympia operates on a threshold scoring system, ensuring that medals are awarded based on merit, rather than mere participation. If a contestant does not meet the required score for a medal, no medal is given. This system establishes a consistent industry standard and maintains Nailympia’s benchmark for excellence. Medals are highly prestigious and must reflect skill, mastery, creativity and flair. Nailympia upholds this standard across all competition locations.
Tied scores
When scores are tied for medals or rankings, the administration team views the scores of the first technical judge on the scoring sheet to determine the placement of the competitor. If the score is also tied in this case, the team moves to the next technical judge. This process repeats until a difference in scores is found.
