At the start of 2026, 4.58 million podcasts were available worldwide – and by the end of this year, the number of global podcast listeners is estimated to reach 619 million.

First known as ‘audio blogs’, podcasts are loved for their digestible and accessible format, the way their conversational tone connects with listeners and the fact that, nowadays, there’s something for everyone. The Life of KG Podcast

Clawgasmic Nail Tech Talks

Launched in 2021, this podcast boasts over 250 episodes to ‘help, educate and inspire nail technicians and artists from all over the world’. Educator, mentor & co-founder of the Clawgasmic online support platform, Chantelle Johnson, hosts the weekly episodes. These often feature special guests, alongside Chantelle’s husband, Clawgasmic co-founder & marketing specialist, Jouvan.

The Nail Tech Society

Born from a desire to explain answers to frequently asked nail questions, this podcast was created by Scratch Stars Educator of the Year 2024 & Online Educator of the Year 2025, Melanie Lewendon. With each episode exploring the ‘why and how behind techniques, products and building a successful career in the nail industry’, and featuring ‘honest conversations, brand neutral education and no gatekeeping’, Melanie is making must-have industry knowledge accessible for all.

The Nail Tech Society uses real scenarios and conversations to answer common questions and debunk industry misconceptions. Topics include how to prevent lifting; the difference between monomers, oligomers and polymers; what to look for in a nail brand; which treatments your qualifications allow you to carry out, and the difference between infill and rebalance services.

Nails & Yap

‘Like your favourite nail appointment, but with a mic’, Nails & Yap is the creation of Laura Large: owner of Stockport nail business, The Cure & founder of Manchester community, The Nail Social. She was inspired to launch the podcast after feeling that insightful conversations she was having with other nail techs needed to be heard by more people. Laura values authenticity, and this has shaped her podcast content.

What makes Nails & Yap particularly unique is that episodes are filmed while Laura creates a nail look for guests, encouraging the real discussions that happen behind the nail desk each day. Previously named The Beauty Build, REAL is business and mindset coach, Zaara King’s honest take on how to achieve personal and professional growth. With over 100 ‘bingeable episodes’, the host uses her experiences as a mobile, salon and home-based pro to share motivational talks and strategies. She has shifted her focus away from solely supporting beauty professionals, and now strives to help ‘ambitious women in a wider arena of service-based businesses’.

The podcast is aimed at those who are ‘ready to go all-in on creating consistent income, mental clarity, more freedom and a business that actually works for [their] life’. Zaara shares her journey of finding success as a business owner, while juggling motherhood, and interviews amazing women in business – including Lyndsey Joyce of Black Canvas Society: Scratch Stars Shooting Star Award finalist 2026.

Moo Chats

As well as boasting seven successful salons across southern England, franchise brand, Mooeys, has a visual podcast: Moo Chats. Franchise founder, Amy Lewis, hosts the podcast and launched it this year to stay connected to her brand, as she is not on the salon floor. She describes it as her way of ‘staying close to the team, clients and everyday salon conversations that built Mooeys in the first place’.

Moo Chats promises ‘authentic conversations from inside the Herd’ (the term Amy affectionately uses to describe Mooeys team members), covering topics from mental health and confidence to leadership and motherhood. Episodes are recorded in Mooeys salons, and have featured salon therapists, managers and clients who share their career journeys, the highlights and challenges of ttheir work, and treatment and trend insights. Beauty Business Matters with Susan Routledge

This visual podcast from beauty business mentor, author & award-winning aesthetic clinic owner, Susan Routledge, shares expert business knowledge every week. With two series to immerse in, there’s plenty to learn from Confessions of a Beauty Boss hosts, Jenny Storey and Kate Berry. Lucy Ash of @beautebylucy1 and Rahema Hussain of @amorebyrae launched the High Maintenance podcast in July for ‘nail techs who want to grow, laugh and feel less alone in the industry’. Fun and effortless conversations between two best friends help to create a community feel, and mean that there’s no gatekeeping – just ‘honest conversations about business, social media, pricing, confidence, mindset, industry trends and the topics everyone else avoids’.

Episodes revolve around seven key topics: wellness, professionalism, beauty and nail health, industry education, luxury service experiences, entrepreneurship and intentional living.
