Elizabeth Tighe Nail Spa has a story woven into its walls. Before becoming the self-care destination it is today, the building housed a credit union, gift shop, home health care office and was the apartment of salon owner, Liz’s father-in-law. “My husband’s father was one of the happiest people I’ve ever known,” Liz reflects. “Being able to bring life, joy and positive energy back into a space that meant so much to him is incredibly special.”
Transforming the space into a nail studio took five months, resulting in a whimsical, zen-like environment where artwork adorns the walls and plants fill every corner. “So many people have asked if they can bring a book and sit in the salon, even if they don’t have an appointment,” Liz smiles.
Elizabeth Tighe Nail Spa’s services span nail lacquer, gel polish and builder gel manicures, nail extensions and pedicures, with a focus on natural nail health. Thinking about the future, Liz’s aim is clear: “My goal is for the salon to remain a place of calm where people can truly unwind,” she says. “I hope clients leave smiling, relaxed and genuinely happy.”

Glow Beauty Studio

Glow Beauty Studio is a stylish and inviting space designed to help clients feel at ease. “It’s a place where they can relax, chat and leave feeling more confident than when they arrived,” says owner, Jenna Pearson.
While the salon is open plan, Jenna notes that the team has been mindful to incorporate areas of privacy. “Genuine connections matter, so designing a space that allows for uninterrupted conversation was a priority for us,” Jenna explains.
The studio offers a variety of nail services, with hard gel treatments being most popular. “We use a considered selection of brands, choosing what works best for staff and clients,” Jenna shares.
Looking ahead, the salon owner has visions of expansion for Glow Beauty Studio. “By growing our team, we’d have the capacity to welcome more clients and ensure even more people can benefit from the calm, nurturing environment we’re known for,” she says.
