Gelish has enhanced its nail game with Color Plus: a vibrant gel nail polish range that promises to elevate the service experience. HELENA BIGGS gets the scoop

Gelish took the nail industry by storm back in 2009 with the launch of its brush-on, soak-off gel polish range. Now, the brand has levelled up its offerings with a system set for similar levels of excitement: Color Plus.

With fingers on the pulse of sustainability, Gelish houses Color Plus in glass bottles, with caps made from post-consumer resin (PCR). Each bottle features the ProGel® 880 Brush: 880 laser-cut bristles with twice the density of Gelish’s previous design, for maximum coverage and ease of application. Testing of the formula involved internal personnel and ‘real-world, professional feedback’, focusing on application performance, pigmentation, wear, durability, curing consistency and salon usability.

APPLICATION & REMOVAL

“Color Plus was developed to integrate seamlessly into the Gelish ecosystem,” reveals Danny. “Professionals can continue to benefit from Gelish prep products, salon education, LED curing technology, accessories and service protocols, while adding a new colour experience and expanded creative possibilities. The application process is intentionally familiar to existing Gelish users, so they can adopt Color Plus without needing to change their existing service setups – but the colour experience is completely elevated. We recommend two thin coats, but thanks to the high pigment load, many shades deliver incredible visual impact from the first coat.”
