Styled with
Scratch
USA-based nail pro, Yevheniia Chernyshova, stunned us with her entry into Nailympia San Antonio’s Extreme Nail Styling Poster competition for 2026. She used five copies of Scratch magazine to create a skirt, bodice and long nail design for her model, and cut colourful sections of the magazine to adhere to a hat. We’re obsessed with the look! Scan to watch her video of the creative process.

Man-icure meetup
Rebecca headed to ES Nails in West Hampstead for the soft launch of male nail painting campaign, Hard As Nails, ahead of its national pilot in November. The initiative seeks to challenge negative male stereotypes by encouraging men to have their nails painted and wear them for a week, while recording any meaningful discussions that happen as a result. At ES Nails, male attendees received nail lacquer and gel polish manicures, while engaging in conversations about healthy masculinity. Turn to page 50 to learn more about Hard As Nails.

Wella worth it
Jess Watts stepped into the world of Wella at the beauty company’s annual House of Wella event. OPI brought fun to the fingertips of attendees with nail stickers and Manicure Roulette nail service cards, plus offered a first look at its upcoming in-store consumer stand. OPI’s UK&I education manager, Charlotte Lowe, hosted a discussion with the brand’s global ambassadors, Jessica White (@jessicawhitenailartist) and Anouska Anastasia (@anouskaanastasia).
What we’re wearing...
At John Frieda Mayfair, Rebecca opted for a deep brown shade from PersoNAILity’s autumn ManiCure Gel Polish collection, embracing one of the season’s trending tones.
A trip to Istanbul inspired Helena’s most recent nail style, which features a Turkish eye symbol alongside gold chrome stars and pink dots. Elements of the design were taken from a @bycharlottenails creation and fashioned onto Helena’s fingertips by @beckthenailteck.
Gel polish & glow
Celebrity nail pro, Jenni Coles (née Draper), joined the John Frieda Mayfair team for a residency, so Rebecca headed to the London salon to receive a gel polish manicure and CACI hand rejuvenation treatment. Jenni – who is the founder of nail brand, PersoNAILity, applied a HEMA-free gel polish from the brand’s ManiCure range. She then used the CACI Prep & Glow Pro cleansing device on Rebecca’s hands and arms to exfoliate the skin and increase blood flow.
