An insight into Shear Haven domestic violence training Ambassador for Shear Haven, Liz McKeon, joined senior news & features writer, Rebecca, to talk about the initiative for salon professionals. Sarah Herring
Managing editor, Helena, headed to the Beyond Medi Spa at Harvey Nichols, London, to be one of the first to try Medik8’s Total Skin Reset Peel, which launched on 14 March. Following a consultation with Medik8 skincare expert & trainer, Sarah Herring, three exfoliation methods were used to decongest skin and promote an instantly radiant finish. Helena was then given Medik8 products to support the effects of the peel, which focused on the brand’s CSA philosophy: championing vitamin C and sunscreen by day, and vitamin A at night. Helena and Rebecca hotfooted to London’s ExCel centre for trade event, Professional Beauty London. They visited the exhibition stands of nail, beauty and technology brands including Glitterbels, Gelish and Lecenté, and caught up with industry organisations, ABT, NHBF and The Federation of Nail Professionals (The FNP), which toasted its relaunch via a prosecco reception. The pair also watched professional and student nail enthusiasts compete in The FNP Nail Competitions and scoop accolades at the awards ceremony. Check out the results by scanning here
