Hara Professional, a company with a 50-year history in the beauty sector, has launched its first nail contest, in a bid to find three brand ambassadors across the UK and ROI to join its team. “Since the launch of Hara Gel Polish in 2017, the brand has been dedicated to providing exceptional products that are exclusive to nail professionals, and over four million sets of nails have been created using Hara products,” shares Claire Lebrun, head of Hara Professional. “We understand beauty businesses and the continued demands that are placed on them in an ever-changing world. Through this competition, we seek to elevate nail standards and and champion excellence.”
The competition celebrates the reformulation of Hara Professional’s gel polish line to Hema-free, and seeks ‘stunning, flawlessly executed gel polish manicures’. “We want to see impeccable product application, sharp smile lines and neat cuticles,” Claire continues. “The quality of the photographs submitted is also important, and they should be beautifully shot to capture your handiwork. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
When entry closes on 31 October, submissions will be assessed and scored by Claire Lebrun, head of Hara Professional; Adam Swain, marketing executive at Hara Professional; Helena Biggs, editorial & partnerships director at Scratch, and Hara Professional brand ambassadors. The winner and runners-up will be announced late November.
HOW TO ENTER
Step 1: Grab your Hara product arsenal or purchase a Hara Gel Polish Kit for the discounted price of £15 + VAT, and Hara Pro LED/UV Nail Lamp for £20 + VAT (saving £29.95) via www.haraprofessional.com.
Step 2: Take a photo of nails before application, then create two manicures Hara Professional products: a red gel polish overlay and a French gel polish finish (one hand, five nails per look).
Create an Instagram reel-style video showing the application process of each, with Hara products in view.
Step 3: Take photos of the finished nails, including close-ups from various angles.

THE PRIZE
The winner will receive Hara furniture, equipment or products to the value of £3,000, and be invited to join the Hara Professional team as a brand ambassador. The second and third place runners-up will receive prizes and brand ambassadorships.
