A 2026 calendar created by ‘The Naked Nailists’ in aid of mental health charity, Mind, arrived at Scratch HQ. It is the passion project of Exeter-based nail pro, Danny Manchip, and aims to encourage people to be more open to communicating about challenges they’re facing. The calendar features 12 nude nail pros, each tastefully photographed within their work environments. Find out more by following @thenakednailists on Instagram.
TGB shines at Tinseltown
London’s White City House was the venue for Tinseltown: an event hosted by The GelBottle Inc (TGB) to wrap up 2025 in style. Helena and Rebecca attended, and caught up with Scratch columnist, Zoya Mac, and TGB’s global head of education, Giorgia Cappella. Karaoke and themed cocktails were enjoyed, and guests dressed in sparkles hit the dancefloor, after checking out shades from the brand’s Tinseltown gel polish collection.

A berry tone and tartan nail style called for Helena, and she visited her regular nail pro, Rebecca Ellis of Beck The Nail Teck in Dartford, Kent, who created the look over builder gel enhancements.
Magic & memories
Helena headed to Glitterbels HQ in Stoke-on-Trent to celebrate achievements of its professional community at the first Glitterbels Nailist Gala. The venue, a converted church, was transformed for the event, with tables set out for a banquet. Guests partied in their finery, while a DJ and saxophonist ensured they were entertained. The evening’s hosts, Glitterbels co-founder, Annabel Maginnis, and creative brand manager, Ebony Shepherd, unveiled the recipients of the Nailist Awards – including Trendsetter of the Year. True-ly fun times with Andreia Professional
Portuguese-founded nail, hair and beauty brand, Andreia Professional, invited Jess Watts to an experiential event at Soho Works, London. After browsing the brand’s most-loved beauty products, she enjoyed a manicure, courtesy of nail artist, Keshia of @painted_bykeshia. With the pro’s help, Jess selected True Pure Gel Polish in stunning burgundy shade, T40, and Keshia completed the look with the brand’s award-winning LAB: Cuticle Oil.
