Years in nails – I attained my first nail qualification in March 2022 and love doing nails as much as I did then. In this industry, you never stop learning new tricks!
Trained with – I initially completed an online course, but undertook in-person training when I rebranded to Home Of Nail Art (HONA). I really enjoyed learning this way, as I could watch techniques up close.
Favourite products – I have so many! I use the HONA brand exclusively and my most used products are its TrueSculpt hard gel, Pure Foundation builder gel and PureBond primer.
Favourite nail technique – I enjoy applying builder gel onto an almond-shaped natural nail. It suits the ‘clean girl’ aesthetic, which I love.
Favourite nail design – I am a fan of a colourful French mani and pristine block colour application. I respect the dedication of advanced nail artists, but I prefer to create simple, minimalist designs or use chrome powder for a striking finish.
Career ambition & vision – I’m very happy with where my journey is taking me so far. I have been embracing every opportunity that has come my way, such as speaking on a podcast and doing a live demo in front of over 200 people at a HONA event. Eventually, I would like to teach, so I can pass my knowledge onto others. I also enjoy content creation, but need to find a balance between day-to-day client work and time to create and edit videos.
Who do you admire in the industry? There are far too many to say. The nail community is fabulous!
