New Year’s Day saw the launch of the third
North America’s Star Nail Artist
(NASNA) challenge, following a break in December that allowed contestants to focus on seasonal commitments. Sponsored by The GelBottle Inc, this task marked the contest’s halfway point, and invited participants to create a design across 10 nails that showcased their aspirations for 2025.
Artists dug deep into their creative mindsets to sculpt awards, hand-paint holiday destinations and share monetary goals, each providing a video to demonstrate the creative process and a write-up to detail their vision. Twenty-eight contestants remain in the competition, which sees eliminations take place after each challenge following a lengthy judging process and Wild Card battle.

Challenge three: Manifest your 2025 dreams
The GelBottle Inc sent contestants products to use to create their nail looks. These included the brand’s BIAB™ (Builder In A Bottle™) and DesignEx Pro™ Extensions to form the base of designs, and art products for decoration: 3D Gel, acrylic powder, Studio Chrome Pigments and Studio Gel™.
