Introducing PureSculpt™: a medium viscosity hard gel from Glitterbels, formulated to offer strength, clarity & length

Are you seeking a gel that offers exceptional sculpting control and creates a rigid, long-lasting nail structure – whatever the length? Discover PureSculpt™, the latest product offering from award-winning nail brand, Glitterbels.

Serving up 26 shades to flatter a variety of skin tones, PureSculpt™ is a HEMA-free, self-levelling hard gel that allows pros to add structure, build and extend with confidence. Formulated with a medium viscosity, the product offers a strong nail foundation for colour and art services, and can be worn alone for a chic and natural-looking finish.

Annabel Maginnis

“PureSculpt™ is our next generation LED-curing hard gel system, created for nail professionals who want maximum control, strength and clarity in every service,” shares Annabel Maginnis, Glitterbels co-founder. “The formula is crafted with a medium viscosity urethane acrylate blend that cures to form a dense, cross-linked structure.

This gives our hard gel strength, rigidity and long-lasting stability, even at extended lengths.”

Designed to glide smoothly across the nail, ultra-fine mineral fillers reduce shrinkage, allowing for application precision and a flawless surface ready for finish-filing or colour. PureSculpt™ can be used with forms or tips, and should be infilled at each appointment.

Charli Jepson

“If a client needs length, has a challenging nail shape or regularly experiences breaks, I suggest using PureSculpt™ hard gel,” shares Charli Jepson, head of education at Glitterbels. “Brush-on builder gels are fantastic for natural nail overlays and lighter reinforcements, but PureSculpt™ is designed for technicians who seek maximum control, superior structure and a true sculpting system that performs under pressure.

“I love the level of control that the product offers to nail professionals,” Charli continues. “PureSculpt™ behaves exactly how a hard gel should: it stays where you place it, allows time to perfect structure and delivers strength without unnecessary bulk. From an education perspective, it supports correct nail architecture, which is something I am incredibly passionate about. It encourages better techniques, rather than compensating for poor habits.”

TRAINING

Glitterbels offers online and in-person education on hard gel theory, structure, PureSculpt™ application and safe removal. “Education has always been at the heart of the Glitterbels brand,” shares Charli Jepson. “PureSculpt™ training will help nail technicians understand when and why to choose a hard gel system – not just how to apply it.”

APPLICATION POINTERS

“Correct preparation ensures exceptional adhesion of PureSculpt™ and aids longevity,” shares Charli Jepson. “Follow these steps for perfect PureSculpt™ application:

1. Prep the nails and remove cuticle from the nail plate. Lightly etch the surface of the nail using a 180-grit file.

2. Apply Glitterbels Dehydrator followed by Acid Free Primer.

3. Apply a thin base layer of PureSculpt™ and cure.

4. Apply a thin slip layer and place a bead of gel just below the cuticle area. Using light brush pressure, gently guide the bead away from the area and float across the nail plate. Use the brush to steer the product rather than push it, so the gel can self-level.

5. Work the product side to side to maintain balance, then pull towards the free edge to distribute evenly. Use a fine liner brush to neaten the product from the sidewalls and cuticle area, before curing for 60 seconds.

6. Repeat if necessary. Finish by cleansing, filing and applying your chosen colour and top coat.”

SHADE STORIES

“The PureSculpt™ shade range has been developed using cosmetic-grade pigments that remain stable and true to colour,” reveals Annabel Maginnis. “Many hues have been expertly matched to our Hema Free Builder-bel Gel range, allowing for a seamless transition between systems.”

INFILLS & REMOVALS

“PureSculpt™ is a file-off hard gel, so removal is always mechanical rather than soak-off,” Charli Jepson shares. “For regular clients, reduce the bulk of the product and rebalance the remaining hard gel, instead of removing it entirely. This protects the natural nail and supports long-term nail health. When full removal is required, use an E-file to file off the enhancement.”

PureSculpt™ is £24.99 inc VAT and available via www.glitterbels.com
