Nailympia COMPETITION NEWS

Immerse in competition highlights, interviews & points to note from the Nailympia realm, with its global director

Nailympia Anaheim : The results

The second Nailympia Anaheim nail competition took place 23-24 February at Premiere Anaheim , California, welcoming 40 competitors from eight countries. An expert panel of 15 judges meticulously assessed entries for the first Nailympia of 2025, using updated rules and guidelines courtesy of industry leaders: Vitaly Solomonoff, Stefanie Lo Re, David Fowler, Zrinka Vuksan and Alex Fox.

Every scoresheet was also updated, with additional criteria and more judges working in the booths. It was inspiring to see nail artists travel from all over the world to compete, with entries sent from countries including Vietnam, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Canada. A diverse group of passionate artists descended into California to showcase their skills in the arena, hailing from across the USA, Argentina, Italy and Denmark.

Nailympia Anaheim’s partner, Premiere Anaheim, hosted the nail arena, which was nestled inside its beauty exhibition. Desk lamps were supplied by Americanails, while sponsor, Byootique, donated 11 of its mobile carry cases as prizes alongside a Nail Table Lamp, so that all Division 3 gold medallists received prize. The LeChat Nails brand offered product goody bags to all trophy winners, and information platform, GlossaryLive, gifted $100 vouchers towards its Nail University courses.

It was great to see so many competitors take part in Nailympia Anaheim. I was astounded by the quality of the art categories, and judges were very complimentary about the work they saw behind the curtain. It was a wonderful way to kick off the 2025 Nailympia season, and long may this momentum continue, pushing us all towards a bigger, better and brighter future for nails.
